Our Curriculum 2023
Our aim as a school is to give all of our pupils the best possible education, to raise standards and improve learning for all our pupils regardless of ability, ethnicity, gender or disability.
You will find below the National Curriculum (2014), it is the statutory document which forms the basis of school's planning and provision. It details what should be taught to each year group in each of the subject areas.
It is up to individual schools to design and build their own curriculum so that they can meet the statutory requirements in a way that matches their context, location and ethos. As a school we have always embraced opportunities to be creative and are therefore proud of our bespoke curriculum offer.
In the Early Years and Key Stage 1 we teach phonics using the DfE Validated Twinkl Phonics Scheme.
